I love this. I just heard it for the first time and immediately DL’d their discography. Such a fucking good beat. And the band sounds cool:
The Heavy are a hit indie rock band who claim to be from Noid, England, allegedly a small hamlet near Bath. However, no such place appears to exist. A likely explanation is that the name is a contraction of No Id, either a reference to not wishing to disclose their hometown, or from the No ID, No Sale campaign from pubs in the UK.
Fuck ‘indie rock.’ This shit is funky and soulful. I’ll be jamming today.
